Jive and LogMeIn join forces on UCC: What it means for our customers

I’m excited to share that today LogMeIn and Jive Communications have officially joined forces, closing an acquisition we first announced in February, and in the process bringing together our two great teams and technology into a single, modern Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) portfolio.

Like LogMeIn, Jive was born in the cloud, and this has given the company a significant advantage. In an industry that grew up on hardware and has since had to adapt to the cloud, Jive built their foundation with a cloud-first mindset. They designed their products to solve modern communication use cases that included but were not limited to just voice. And, like LogMeIn, Jive built frictionless experiences and easy to use products – products designed to scale simply and securely as demand grew.

The combination of Jive’s award-winning voice, video, contact center and mobile applications with LogMeIn’s leading collaboration products – GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, OpenVoice, Grasshopper, and more – creates one of the best and most comprehensive UCC offerings in the market.  The result is a deal that will give our customers and our partners new ways to unlock the potential of their businesses while setting a new standard in the UCC market.

The resources and insight to fuel Jive’s innovation
As key, individual parts of the LogMeIn’s UCC portfolio, Jive’s products and the Jive team behind them will now benefit from LogMeIn’s significant scale, resources, and market insight needed to help accelerate innovation, introduce complementary best-in-class offerings, expand footprint into new markets, and deliver even greater quality of service.
